A genuine crowd-pleaser, and one of the few modern hybrids to earn that status on merit rather than marketing. Tidal Wave is a cross between B+ and Penis Envy, and it's inherited the better half of each — the easy-going vigour and generous flushes of the former, the dense, substantial build of the latter. The result is a strain that colonises confidently, fruits reliably, and produces the kind of thick-set, weighty mushrooms usually associated with far fussier genetics.

The name comes from the caps, which frequently develop a wavy, rippled margin as they mature — an undulating edge that gives a good flush a distinctly rolling look. Colouring runs caramel to deep tan, often with a paler edge, on stems thick enough to hold serious weight. It's a handsome strain by any measure, and one of the more photogenic things you can put in a tub.

Storage: Keep your spores refrigerated, not frozen, from the moment you receive them. Pop them in the fridge straight away, and they’ll happily keep for a couple of months and, in perfect conditions, even for years.

What’s included in the syringe package:

It is best to keep these syringes refrigerated until and after use. Keep them in a sealed container in the dark and all will be well. In a cupboard they will last about six months and kept in the fridge, they will last a year or two – just don’t leave them at the back of the fridge as they can freeze there and the spores do not like to be frozen. It’s that easy.

If you use the syringe and don’t use all the spore solution, just leave the needle connected to the syringe and put the needle cap back on for storage. Remember to put it back into a clean, sealed container. When it comes time to use the syringe again, just clean the needle by heating it up with a lighter or torch until it glows red (making sure all creepy crawlies have been dealt with) and you are good to go.
