A little history: Hawaiian is better known to enthusiasts as PES Hawaiian, after Pacific Exotica Spora, the American outfit credited with introducing it in the late 1980s or early '90s. Whether the original genetics ever saw a Hawaiian shore is anybody's guess — the records are thin, and the stories are plentiful. What's not in doubt is its staying power: three decades on, it's still one of the most widely circulated Psilocybe cubensis varieties going.
Storage: Keep your spores refrigerated, not frozen, from the moment you receive them. Pop them in the fridge straight away, and they’ll happily keep for a couple of months and in perfect conditions, even for years.
